Zig Zag Quilt

Zig Zag Quilt

I finally finished my Zig Zag Quilt that I machine quilted some swirls, feathers, and did some ruler work. The colored fabric was leftover from a charm pack.

Hubby helped me decide how to incorporate feathers into the quilt. I love feathers, but I’m still practicing them. Here is a close up of the quilting that I did on my Gammill longarm machine.

What do you think? Did I do an okay job.

It was also my first time doing ruler work, that was fun!

I was also having issues with my feathers, that the thread was breaking and come to find out that my needle wasn’t screwed in tightly since it was changing its position!!

Joey! It’s awesome! I can’t believe how fast you’ve mastered the long arm machine and how beautiful the feathers are. Nicely done.

The feathers look great. I love the swirls. The ruler work and colors are wonderful too.

Thanks Susan. I’ve just been doodling on paper, wipe board or graph paper to get that muscle memory down. But I never know what will happen when I start to quilt. 🙂
